After a resting day in the city of Nelson, British Columbia, on May 25th, Clara Hughes ready to head to the province of Alberta, Canada and for another week of cycling. The skating champion stopped in the city of Creston, British Columbia, Canada on May 26th. She held a community Mental Health discussion in this city at the Lower Kootenay Band Administration Complex from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Olympics athlete also spoke of the importance of sport in communities and for restoring Mental Health positivity.

The Canada Olympics Champion Clara Hughes and her Big Ride team of cycling champions will travel to the city of Cranbook British Columbia on May 27th before heading to the province of Alberta to spread the word of Mental Health and wellness in this new province. From 6p.m. to 9 p.m. she will celebrate the 9th annual Volunteer Appreciation Awards Gala at the Eugene Golf Resort during her final stop in BC.

Hosting her first Hawaiian themed event, our skating champion and Mental Health advocate Clara Hughes, is then scheduled to make her first Alberta appearance on May 28th in Crowsnest Pass. Mental Health booths will fill the Crowsnest Sports Complex for this event called “Pupus in the Pass”. The Mental Health community event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Clara Hughes will attend a short welcoming event in Claresholm, Alberta, at 3 p.m. on May 29th before leaving for Calgary on May 30th. She will attend an equally short welcoming event on this day and have the night to rest in preparation for her huge Mental Health and Sport event in Calgary on the 31st.
