London, Let's Talk! – A conference and the 6th stop for Clara Hughes by

Journal Notes

The conference held in London Clara Hughes will be called “London, Let's Talk” and display Clara Hughes’ exploits and goals along with ways that people in need can ask for help.

Clara will arrive in the city at 1:40 PM. on March 19th and the conference will take place between 5 and 8 PM, making it her earliest talk to date. The workshop will take place in the Middle District of Distress and hosted mainly by Clara.

Three other members of the community will speak at this special occasion. These include Cheryl Legate and Sarah Lagrove. Miss Legate is the Executive Director of the Centre of Distress and Support of London and specialist in health services, sales, information and guidance at ConnexOntario. Miss Lagrove is the community development coordinator at the Distress Centre of London and Professor of Broadcasting Journalism at Fanshawe College.

The third member of the community will be unveiled at the conference itself. I am intrigued about it and I'll keep you up to date with this “mystery speaker”.

The London area is located directly between Chatham and Hamilton, two cities that have already been visited by six-time Olympic medalist. This city is known as the city of Forestry and consequentially has several outdoor areas for Clara and other cyclists. Travelling from the city of Sarnia, Clara has to travel about 100km on country roads in the picturesque area to get to London.

This Ontario town appears in 15th place in Canada in standings with a population of over 350,000 citizens and covers an area of approximately 2,600 km2.

As far as tourism is concerned, the city of London is known for its ecotourism, arts and films and various music festivals and more.
